Heidi Urban is the President and one of the founders of Urban Solutions Ltd.

Through the company, Heidi has offered consulting and project management services since 1985. A diversified information technology career has enabled her to implement business solutions for a number of clients in applications such as Forestry, Provincial Government, Software and Hardware Vendors, and Consulting companies. In her capacity as a consulting Channel Business Manager at the Vancouver office of a Toronto-based company, she managed the forecasting, product quotation and problem resolution, marketing and product dissemination for several Value Added Resellers. For a prominent Vancouver-based company, she managed a project, the scope of which included the launch of a new product at the Sapphire Trade Show in September 1999, production of the marketing collateral and the planning of the logistics to demonstrate the product. While employed by the same Vancouver company as a Project Manager, she and her team implemented a complex Radio Frequency system for Northern Telecom, which is integrated with a warehouse management system using Baan.

Heidi's ability to communicate with all levels of users, to define system requirements and solutions, and to provide project management and leadership, has resulted in a number of successful projects.

Greg Patterson became a partner in the company in 1995. Greg has more than 10 years of experience in Information Technology, primarily in Engineering, Military and Space real-time systems. He has also had experience with Banking and Insurance Applications. His knowledge encompasses system/software design, implementation and software/system test to the highest levels of certification, in applications where safety and process are paramount. He has also led multi-disciplinary teams to successful project conclusions.

Prior to focusing on IT, Greg spent some time as an Air Force pilot, and also worked for a period of time as a Geologist.
